Is XMPDesk a Camera Bits product?
No. XMPDesk is an independent service and is not affiliated with Camera Bits. The generated XMP data is designed for workflows using Photo Mechanic.
Is there a free trial?
No. Starter and Team are intended as paid B2B monthly subscriptions without a free trial. The price and contract details will be shown clearly before any paid confirmation.
Can I cancel monthly?
The planned launch rule is to allow both plans to end after the current monthly billing period. The terms published at launch will be authoritative.
What happens after cancellation?
The planned launch rule provides full access until the paid period ends, followed by a limited read and data-export window. This is not yet an active service commitment.
Can I add multiple photographers?
Yes. Starter includes up to two accounts and Team three to fifteen accounts.
Does XMPDesk alter my image files?
No. XMPDesk provides the reviewed metadata as a separate XMP file. Your image files remain unchanged.
How do events enter XMPDesk?
Administrators can synchronise events from connected sources or create their own assignments manually.
